Millmoor Juniors Girls Under 9s team was formed in 2018 on a bus by a group of parents whilst on a coach trip to watch Rotherham United in the League 1 playoff final at Wembley.
Their first season was playing teams in the U10’s above and subsequently lost every game.
From this they continued to develop a huge interest in the area and through hard work of the parents have started this season with two under 9s teams.
This season both teams have played 4 matches and won all 4 games so far, what an amazing start to their season! – must be their new coach – Ashley Mullett!
In September 2019 Questech jumped at the opportunity to sponsor the team and purchased new away kits and training tops for all the team.
We wish them all the best for this season and hope to manage to catch a game soon!
